This error occurs when we uses the older versions of google chrome after uninstalling a new version of chrome.Well you can fix this error by installing a newer version of google chrome if you want to fix the problem in your browser without downloading and installing a new version follow the steps given below

In Windows XP1. First close your browser and open my computer
2. Goto the following path C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\GoogleChrome\User Data\Default 
3. Find and delete the file webdata

In windows 7 or windows 8

1. First close your browser and open my computer

2. Goto the following path C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\GoogleChrome\User Data\Default
3. Find and delete the file webdata

Now the error disappears ............
